Todos os filmes da Disney relacionados com a MAR 6 (All Disney's films about the sea 6)

The Crimson Wing: Mystery Of The Flamingos is a nature documentary film produced by Disney Nature. The film gets intimate with the lesser flamingos who live near a lake in Tanzania.
This is one of the most in-depth documentaries ever produced on flamingos. This is all about their mating habits, what type of
enemies they have, and how they live in general. From storks to spotted hyenas, the flamingos have a lot of dangers to deal with in their day to day life. Flamingos have a very strong desire to live and they love to enjoy themselves. This film definitely captures the heart of the flamingo and is the type of... LINK

Winner of the Academy Award for Best Documentary, the 1958 Walt Disney Production White Wilderness is the fifth installment in Disney's True-Life Adventure series. Over three years in the making, the film documents the migratory life cycles of various North Country animals, including walrus, musk oxen, reindeer, caribou and polar bears.

White Wilderness also takes the viewer underwater to reveal never-before scenes of Beluga whales and seals displaying incredible acrobatic "ballets." Another fascinating feature is the almost hypnotic sequence that follows the annual "death march" of a colony of lemmings as they mysteriously dive headlong over cliffs into the frigid ocean below.
The film builds to a thrilling finale as viewers find themselves in the middle of an attack by a pack of...LINK

Narrated by Winston Hibler and directed by James Algar, the 1948 documentary Seal Island, is the first in the Walt Disney True-Life Adventure series. Filmed by the husband-wife team of Alfred and Elma Milotte during a year spent in the Pribilof Islands of Alaska, Seal Island documents and brings the viewer "up close and personal" into the world of a seal colony. Moviegoers had never been privy to anything this "real" previously, and the film caused a bit of a sensation almost immediately upon release.

Focusing on just one subject would appear to have a limited appeal, but Seal Island manages to capture the viewer's attention with its spellbinding portrayal of the seals day-to-day struggle for survival, particularly the scenes of the battle between older male seals and young male pups for...LINK

Disney favorite Hayley Mills stars in 1962's In Search of the Castaways, an adaptation of Jules Verne's adventure novel "Captain Grant's Children." A distinguished cast, including Maurice Chevalier, Wilfred Hyde-White and George Sanders helps to carry this action-packed film.

Mary Grant (Mills) convinces Lord Glenarvan (Hyde-White) to lead an expedition to rescue her shipwrecked father, marooned halfway around the world. Encounters with Maori tribesmen, earthquakes, floods, wildfires, giant condors and volcanic eruptions challenge the rescuers in their noble attempt. Filmed in several picturesque South Sea locales, the cinematography is stunning, and the special effects unusually convincing for it's time. There are sub-plots galore, including a double-dealing gunrunner (Sanders) attempting to sabotage the venture, and young Mary Grant's semi-romantic "fling" with the Lord's devoted son, John.

The action is non-stop, and at times, surprisingly hair-raising for a...
