The trawler 'Forget-me-not'

Woolwork picture of Lowestoft trawler 'Forget-me-not', shown against a cloudless sky of a very faded blue. She is flying a name pennant and her number 'LT 30' is on the sail and the side of the ship. The picture is worked on long and short stitch with the
rigging in button thread. The embroidery is framed. 'Forget-me-not' was a ketch built in 1883 by J. W. and A. Upham of Brixham, and owned by William H. Painter of 31 Clapton Road, Lowestoft. She disappeared from the... LINK
