The Polar Sea is a multi-media expedition through the Northwest Passage, one of the most
storied places on Earth.
It is composed of:
1. A 10-episode television series, collectively structured to follow a journey through the Northwest Passage while telling the grand story of the Arctic’s transformation. The series premiers on TVO in Ontario December 1, 2014 and runs every week night for two weeks.
The television series also premiers on ARTE in Germany and France as PolarSea360: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Arctic on December 1, 2014 and runs every week night for two weeks.
2. An extensive online magazine that features more than a hundred contributions from adventurers, scientist, artists, and locals living and travelling along the Northwest Passage.
